Domaine Alain Chavy Puligny Montrachet 2012
Grape / Blend / Alcohol
The nose is quite reduced at first and demands coaxing, but eventually reveals light pear and linden notes with aeration, although the oak needs to be more fully integrated by the time of bottling. The palate is nicely balanced with simple, crisp green apple, pear and citrus peel notes, rendering a straight-down-the-line, orthodox Puligny for early drinking. But there is nothing wrong with that.
