This Kilikanoon Morts Block Riesling 2011 comse from one of the coolest summer and harvest seasons for a decade, despite throwing up some interesting challenges for the Kilikanoon team, has shaped one of the most intensely flavored and crispy structured MORT'S BLOCK RIESLINGS SINCE 2002.
Tasting Note
- Appearance: Brilliant in clarity, pale straw in colour with youthful green tints.
- Nose: Lemons and citrus flavors predominate the signature nose, superbly enhanced by floral notes and perfumes.
- Palate: Generously flavored, the flavors of limes, lemons and citrus carry over seamlessly from the nose. A wine made to either drink now or to put down for many years to enjoy with careful bottle maturation, its core of natural acidity providing terrific balance, great palate length and satisfaction.
